Artists Education
‘We have neglected the truth that a good farmer is a craftsman of the highest order, a kind of artist.” – Wendell Berry.
At Gopal Farm, our intent is to provide a fertile environment for cultivating new ideas and vision supporting a diverse network of creative, artists and influencers who are working to bring new forms of consciousness and beauty into this world.
Through our Artist education programs we provide a rural hub for artists from varying disciplines on the farm, to disconnect from their daily hustle and bustle. And immerse themselves in a beautiful setting where they can connect with nature, and find inspiration for their work.
Whether you are a musician, dancer, painter, sculptor, writer, photographer, or performer, our Artist Education programs are designed to support you on your creative journey.
During these retreats, you will have the opportunity to bond with our cows, learn about the process of turning milk into dairy products, get your hands dirty farming out in our lush fields, or try a new wellness modality. Our farmers, and wellness practitioners will share their knowledge and expertise through curated workshops and sessions. You will have the opportunity to connect with fellow artists and members of the local community through our events and shared meals, discussions, and artistic collaborations, you can build meaningful connections and expand your creative network.
